How to store ghee

A few easy habits keep every jar of ghee tasting as good as the day you opened it.

Ingredients

• A jar of ghee
• A clean, dry spoon

   Keep the lid closed tightly after each use.

   Store the jar in a cool, dark cupboard.

   Keep it away from the stove, the oven and sunny windows.

   Never let water or food crumbs get into the jar.

   If your kitchen is very warm, you can keep it in the fridge, where it will firm up.
